That's the classic aging Tab S3 swollen battery; the glued 6,000mAh cell expands and pushes the laminated 9.7-inch Super AMOLED out of its frame. We replace the battery and, if it has cracked from the pressure, the fused display together.

Can you fix the cracked glass on the back of my Tab S3?

Yes — the Tab S3 is unusual for a tablet in having Gorilla Glass on the rear as well as the front, and we can replace that back glass separately from the 9.7-inch Super AMOLED panel.

Will the fingerprint home button still work after the repair?

We carefully transfer your original physical home-button fingerprint sensor during reassembly so Touch unlock keeps working, since on the SM-T820 it's paired to that specific tablet and can't simply be swapped.
