The iPad mini 7 pairs Apple's A17 Pro chip with an 8.3-inch fully laminated Liquid Retina LCD, so the cover glass and panel are bonded as one unit and a cracked front means a complete display assembly, never a glass-only repair. Its digitizer is what drives Apple Pencil Pro hover, squeeze and barrel-roll, so we align and calibrate the new laminated screen to keep that tracking accurate. The mini 7 keeps USB-C and no headphone jack, and its battery is adhesive-bonded into a very thin chassis, so we lift the old cell with controlled heat to avoid nicking the antenna and Pencil flex cables routed beneath it.

Can you replace just the glass on my iPad mini 7?

No. The mini 7 uses a fully laminated Liquid Retina panel where the glass is bonded to the LCD, so a proper fix swaps the complete display assembly; splitting a laminated screen leaves touch dead spots and haze.

Will Apple Pencil Pro still work after a screen repair?

Yes. The mini 7's hover, squeeze and barrel-roll all rely on the display's digitizer layer, so we calibrate and align the new laminated panel before you leave to keep that Pencil Pro tracking accurate.

The back of my iPad mini 7 feels puffy and it drains fast, can you fix it?

Yes. The mini 7 battery is glued into the rear case, and a puffy back usually means a swelling cell pressing up on the laminated screen, which we remove with controlled heat and replace before it cracks the panel.
