About this repair

Unlike the laminated Air and Pro lines, the 2025 iPad 11 keeps a non-laminated 11-inch Liquid Retina panel with an air gap, so its cracked front-glass digitizer separates from the LCD and can be replaced on its own when the panel underneath still shows a clean image. It shares the Quantum+ digitizer with the 2022 iPad 10 and runs the 6-core A16 chip with USB-C and a landscape Center Stage front camera. Touch ID lives in the top power button, which is paired to the device, so we transfer and recalibrate your original button and manage the air-gap adhesive to keep dust out from behind the new glass.

Only the front glass on my iPad 11 cracked — do I need a whole new screen?

Not necessarily. The iPad 11's display is non-laminated with an air gap, so if the LCD underneath still shows a clean image we can replace just the glass digitizer rather than the full panel.

Is the iPad 11 screen the same part as the iPad 10?

Yes — the 2025 iPad 11 and the 2022 iPad 10 use the same Quantum+ digitizer assembly, so the fitment, the landscape front-camera cutout, and the parts are interchangeable between the two.

Where is the fingerprint reader on the iPad 11 and will it keep working after repair?

Touch ID is built into the top power button on the iPad 11, not a home button. It is paired to your device, so we reuse and recalibrate your original button assembly to keep Touch ID functioning after the repair.
