The Galaxy A71's 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus panel is laminated to a flat frame, so the under-display optical fingerprint reader rides on the screen flex and must be re-enrolled after any assembly swap. Because the original A715 OLED is fused to its bezel, cracked glass means fitting the full display unit rather than the top glass alone. Its Snapdragon 730 board and 4500mAh cell sit behind an adhesive-mounted battery that we lift with controlled heat to avoid puncturing the pack.

Will my fingerprint scanner still work after a Galaxy A71 screen replacement?

The A71 uses an optical fingerprint sensor built into the Super AMOLED panel, so we fit an assembly with that reader attached and re-enroll your prints; a screen missing the integrated sensor would leave the in-display unlock dead.

Can you replace just the cracked glass on my A71 instead of the whole screen?

On the A715 the touch digitizer and AMOLED are bonded under one laminated layer, so once the glass cracks the full display assembly is the dependable fix rather than a glass-only swap that risks dead touch zones.
