Will my fingerprint scanner still work after an A52 screen replacement?

On the Galaxy A52 the fingerprint reader is an optical sensor built under the Super AMOLED, so a genuine Service Pack panel keeps it unlocking; many budget aftermarket A52 screens disable it, which is why we recommend the Service Pack option when fingerprint unlock matters.

Can you keep my A52 water resistant after the repair?
