The Pixel 9a's 6.3-inch Actua pOLED is a 1080x2424 panel that climbs to 120Hz and roughly 2,700 nits, and we replace it as a laminated assembly to keep its flat-edge fit. Unlike the Pro models the 9a keeps an optical under-display fingerprint reader, which we transfer and recalibrate after the swap. Its standout is a 5,100mAh battery — the largest ever in a Pixel a-phone — glued beneath the redesigned flush camera bar, so a dead screen or swollen cell both come apart through that flat back.

Is the Pixel 9a screen worth replacing or should I just upgrade?

Usually worth it — the 9a runs the same Tensor G4 as the flagship, and a fresh laminated Actua pOLED restores the full 120Hz and 2,700-nit brightness, so the phone performs like new for years more.

Will the fingerprint scanner work after a Pixel 9a screen repair?

Why does my Pixel 9a battery suddenly die so quickly?
