The Pixel 9 Pro switched to a flat 6.3-inch LTPO OLED that peaks at a blinding 3,000 nits and, for the first time on a Pixel, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader instead of the old optical one. A cracked panel kills that brightness and can break the under-display sensor's read, so we recalibrate the fingerprint reader after fitting a new OLED. The flat glass front and squared rails make it a cleaner swap than the curved Pixels before it.
