About this repair
The Pixel 8 Pro moved to a flat 6.7-inch LTPO OLED at 2,400 nits and added a temperature sensor to the camera bar on the back. It still uses an optical under-display fingerprint reader, which can read poorly if a cheap panel is fitted, so we use a quality OLED and recalibrate the sensor. The flat front replaces cleanly, and the glued rear glass can be separated if the camera bar cracked too.

My fingerprint reader got slow after a screen swap — why?
The Pixel 8 Pro uses an optical reader that depends on the screen's light output; with a quality panel and recalibration it reads normally again.
The camera bar glass cracked — can you replace just the back?
Yes — the rear glass with the camera bar is a separate part we heat-separate and replace without swapping the whole housing.
